Q: Why should I do this when there are thousands of free YouTube videos?
A: Totally fair question.
The world is a bit of a poop storm right now, and spending money on anything can feel scary. Especially when there are endless YouTube videos, Instagram reels, and free content floating around.
But here's the truth.
The internet is flooded with inaccurate and downright dangerous herbal information. Trying to piece together real understanding from random videos, reels, and disconnected classes often creates more confusion, not clarity.
And let's be honest…
Who are you actually learning from?
Someone who's been living, breathing, and practicing herbalism for decades?
Or someone who just reposted the latest IG meme?
This is exactly why I created this program.
It's built on:
-
14+ years of teaching feedback
-
6 years teaching online
-
25+ years of lived herbal practice
-
Real clinical experience working with real people
Combined with my background in environmental and experiential education, students consistently tell me I make complex topics easier to understand without dumbing them down.
Add in our skilled guest teachers, and you're not just consuming information.
You're learning how to think like an herbalist.
So the real question becomes…
What's it worth to you to feel confident, grounded, and capable in your herbal work?
Q: I'm busy AF with kids, work, and life. How will I find the time?
A: I get this on a deep level.
As a mom, business owner, and human in this world, I know how full life can be.
That's why this program is designed for real life, not an imaginary version where you have endless free time.
Here's how it works:
-
12 months of content, released weekly for structure and momentum
-
Up to 3 years to complete the certification, so there's no pressure
-
Lifetime access to all core content
You'll want that lifetime access, too.
Because five years from now, when Aunt Martha is told she has fatty liver disease, you'll be able to come back, revisit the lesson, and know exactly how to support her.
Lessons are intentionally digestible, not overwhelming info dumps.
Herbalism is lifelong learning.
And once you're on the Herbalist's Path with me, I support you for the long haul.
Q: Do you offer scholarships or financial support?
A: Yes.
I offer a sliding scale for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and single parents.
If you're in need of support, fill out this quick application and we'll do what we can to help.
Q: How long is the program?
A: You receive:
-
12 months of guided content, with weekly quizzes and hands-on projects
-
Up to 3 years to complete all coursework and assessments for certification
This work takes time to integrate properly.
We're not rushing you through just to check boxes.
Q: How long do I have access to the material?
A: You'll have lifetime access to all core lessons.
Herbalism is a lifelong study.
This program is designed to be a resource you return to as your practice and life evolve.
Q: What's expected of me as a student?
A: This is hands-on learning.
You'll complete:
- Weekly quizzes to reinforce understanding
- Practical projects during break weeks
- Real-world application with herbs and people
To receive certification, participation and completion of assessments is required.
This isn't passive video watching if certification is your goal.
Q: What can I do once I'm certified?
A: So many things.
Paths include:
- Making medicine for your family or community
- Teaching classes or workshops
- Opening an apothecary or product line
- Offering consultations
- Growing or foraging herbs
- Becoming a knowledgeable advocate for your own healthcare
The foundation supports many directions.
Q: I'm not sure I want to work with clients. Will this still help me?
A: Absolutely.
Many students join to:
- Support themselves and their families more confidently
- Formulate better remedies
- Start herbal businesses
- Build one of the most essential life skills there is
Even I didn't originally plan to work one-on-one when I started clinical studies.
What I wanted was to formulate excellent medicine.
That deep understanding became the foundation for my successful product line.
So yes — beneficial AF.
Q: Do the hours apply toward AHG Registered Herbalist status?
A: Yes. The hours in this program apply toward American Herbalist's Guild Registered Herbalist hours.
Q: I thought there was no official certification for herbalists?
A: You're right.
There's no government-regulated certifying board in the U.S. right now.
However, communities and clients still want to know you've learned from a credible source.
This certification reflects comprehensive training with an herbalist who has 25+ years of experience, and the hours count toward AHG recognition.
And honestly? You deserve recognition for the work you put in.
Q: Are books or printed materials included?
A: Lessons include printable slides, cheat sheets, and recipes.
I also provide a recommended reading list if you'd like to deepen your studies further.
Q: Are herbs included?
A: No.
Including herbs would dramatically increase the cost.
Instead, students receive discounts from trusted, sustainable suppliers.
Q: Do I have access to you for questions?
A: Yes.
You can:
- Ask questions in the private community
- Join live calls
- Email us directly
Support is a core part of this program.
Q: I'm still unsure. Can we talk it through?
A: Absolutely.
You're welcome to schedule an Herb Chat here and ask your questions before deciding.
